About the position
The SAP IBP Architect position at Niktor Inc. involves leading the application architecture strategy for SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) within a hybrid work environment in Plano, TX. The role requires collaboration across various functions to develop and implement digital products and solutions that align with business goals. The architect will manage a team of engineers, oversee application architecture governance, and ensure adherence to architectural standards while identifying opportunities for improvement in the IT ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop application architecture strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Define transition steps and strategy from the current to the future application architecture.
- Work cross-functionally with product, service design, and operations across the organization.
- Lead multi-discipline, high-performance work teams distributed across remote locations.
- Build, manage, develop, and mentor a team of engineers.
- Interact with executives to lead the narrative around software engineering.
- Manage delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes tied to engineering initiatives.
- Champion and communicate application architecture to business leaders and contracting teams.
- Define development guidelines and standards for application development and integration.
- Analyze the current IT ecosystem application architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of SAP IBP Sales operations planning implementation experience.
- Experience with O9 solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to navigate complex environments.
- Ability to influence and lead people across cultures at a senior level.
- Demonstrated passion for excellence in engineering services, education, and support.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with emerging technologies that can enable overall business architecture.
- Experience in developing proof of concepts or prototypes.
