About the position
The SAP Consultant role focuses on the design and configuration of SAP Finance modules, specifically SAP FI and FICO. The consultant will be responsible for gathering business requirements, performing SAP configurations, and providing support during and after the implementation process. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Specialize in design and configuration of SAP Finance modules (SAP FI and FICO).
- Gather business requirements and provide conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs.
- Perform necessary SAP configurations and write detailed specifications for the development of custom programs.
- Conduct testing and coordinate transports to production.
- Provide post go-live support and ensure smooth transitions for users.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of SAP FICO / FI-CA experience.
- 5-10 years of experience in SAP FI and analytical thinking.
- Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate degree (MBA/CA) preferred.
- Experience in 2-3 full implementations of SAP FI modules.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation creation and delivery.
- Good understanding of accounting concepts.
Nice-to-haves
- 1-2 years of experience with RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting).
