Sanitation Assistant, Grand Canyon National Park

About the position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a full-time Sanitation Assistant to join our team at Grand Canyon National Park in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Sanitation Assistant, you will be key member of the housekeeping team helping to create great guest experience by keeping the property clean and sanitized.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleans common areas and restrooms, replenishes supplies and maintains storage areas.
• Performs walk-a-rounds of areas to ensure standards are met.
• Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Works with department regarding maintenance issues and lost and found procedures.
• Provides excellent customer service when approached by guests.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• No experience required, previous commercial cleaning and/or guest service experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools and fixtures.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure, follow directions.
• Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations.
