About the position
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various equipment and systems. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems as per company standards.
- Diagnose issues using diagnostic tools, including a Volt Meter, to identify electrical problems.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology related to the equipment serviced.
Requirements
- Valid Driving Record: Must have a clean driving record that meets company insurance standards.
- Ability to travel throughout the upper Midwest.
- Some knowledge or experience in plumbing and/or electrical work.
- Ability to read and use a volt meter to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff and customers.
- Experience in routing maintenance tasks to keep equipment.
Nice-to-haves
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
