About the position
The Sales Support Admin plays a crucial role in supporting the sales teams at Core-Mark by managing administrative tasks related to sales operations. This position is essential for ensuring efficient order processing and maintaining customer profiles, contributing to the overall success of the food distribution system in America.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the sales teams
- Obtain purchase orders from Sales Rep or produce a pro forma and enter in NetSuite within 24 hours
- Assist sales team with follow-up including order confirmations and bookings
- Maintain and update customer profiles in NetSuite
- Monitor remaining contract balances upon order entry
- Follow all policies and procedures on safety, cleanliness and BRC/FDA
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manager or other management
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2+ years' office administration experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Nice-to-haves
- 4+ years office administration experience
- Experience in foodservice distribution industry
