About the position

The Sales Strategic Planning & Operations Business Analyst will play a crucial role in managing the Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) process for key clients using Salesforce. This position involves co-owning and supporting the end-to-end development of data quality workflows, ensuring that the processes are efficient and meet the business requirements. The analyst will consult and liaise with various stakeholders across different organizations and teams to gather and confirm business requirements, prioritize critical business requests, and negotiate with the business on competing requirements. Additionally, the role includes managing database updates based on stakeholder requests, which is essential for maintaining accurate and up-to-date information. In this position, the analyst will drive prioritization, process improvement, and efficiencies by recommending, designing, and independently implementing current and future-state business processes. A deep understanding of the business is necessary to connect the dots between teams and identify areas for improvement, efficiency, and collaboration. The analyst will analyze and consolidate information to develop solutions that ensure business requirements are achieved, thereby enhancing overall operational effectiveness. Stakeholder engagement and change management are also key components of this role. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to architect technology solutions that meet client needs. This partnership will help identify how business requirements can be delivered to improve user experiences while reducing costs and time impacts. The analyst will provide subject matter expert (SME) support to system and/or process changes for key stakeholders, ensuring a smooth transition and implementation of new processes. Furthermore, the analyst will be responsible for building and scaling insights by independently deriving insights from large data sets and communicating recommendations to varied audiences. This includes preparing presentations for senior leadership and developing insights from Salesforce data and dashboards for partner and client-facing teams. The ability to communicate effectively and present data-driven insights is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the Configure, Price, Quote process for key clients in Salesforce.
  • Co-own/support end-to-end development of data quality workflows.
  • Consult and liaise with various stakeholders across organizations and teams to gather and confirm business requirements.
  • Prioritize critical business requests and negotiate with the business on competing requirements.
  • Manage database updates based on stakeholder requests.
  • Recommend, design, and independently implement current and future-state business processes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business and connect the dots between teams to identify areas for improvement, efficiency, and collaboration.
  • Analyze and consolidate information to develop solutions to ensure business requirements are achieved.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to architect technology solutions to meet client needs.

Requirements

  • Proficient in English.
  • Salesforce Admin Certification.
  • Located in Miami, with proven experience working with stakeholders across North America and LATAM countries.
  • Advanced experience with SFDC Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ).
  • 8+ years experience in business or sales operations, analytics or planning.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with experience proactively providing practical business insights and implementing solutions from diverse, complex business processes.
  • Proven experience in independently driving end-to-end process implementation, including managing across multiple cross-functional partners simultaneously and influencing senior stakeholder buy-in.
  • Advanced organizational, change and project management skills.
  • Advanced Excel spreadsheet modeling skills, and adept in Microsoft/Google office tools.
  • Strong communication skills to senior leadership.
  • Must be self-driven and able to work independently.

  • Speaks Spanish and/or Portuguese.
  • Experience in establishing operational discipline and rhythm for businesses and teams.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge and knowledge in reproducing or scaling analyses.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, business, or other quantitative or process disciplines.
  • Proven experience leading/influencing stakeholders at different levels of an organization.
