As a Sales & Service Team Member, you will be responsible for thoroughly examining and grading donated goods to sell in our retail stores. This role requires processing goods in an accelerated manner to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment while adhering to standard operating procedures. You will support a guest-friendly culture by greeting every guest, delivering exceptional service, and suggesting additional treasures. Your professionalism, patience, and “people first” attitude will be essential in creating a welcoming environment for our guests. In this position, you will effectively transition products to the retail sales floor with attention to detail and urgency, execute and maintain visual merchandising strategies, and accurately handle point of sale transactions. You will also be responsible for identifying and quickly solving problems, communicating effectively with management and peers, and promoting teamwork. Maintaining a neat, clean, and organized work area is crucial, as is adhering to safety and security practices. You will be expected to attend and complete all required trainings and meetings, and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Responsibilities

- Execute and maintain visual merchandising strategies.
- Effectively recommend/upsell merchandise and round up during transactions.
- Accurately handle point of sale transactions with guests.
- Identify and quickly solve problems and/or seek management support.
- Effectively communicate with management, peers, and guests.
- Promote and demonstrate cooperation and teamwork with peers.
- Consistently perform work tasks according to training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area and retail sales floor at all times.
- Adhere to safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to management.
- Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and sound judgement.
- Must be 18 years or older to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift.
