About The Position

As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll take the lead in generating high-quality opportunities for our sales teams. You’ll move beyond activity targets to strategically qualify leads, engage decision-makers, and tailor outreach to industry and customer needs. Your role will combine outbound prospecting, inbound qualification, and close collaboration with account executives to ensure the pipeline is healthy and aligned with business goals. You’ll be trusted to use AI and data-driven tools to sharpen targeting, personalize outreach, and improve conversion rates. (Military veterans are encouraged to apply.) Requirements

  • Ability to commute to and work in our Nashville, TN office at least 2 days or more per week.
  • (2+ years) experience in sales development, lead generation, or inside sales.
  • Track record of consistently achieving or surpassing lead-to-opportunity conversion targets.
  • Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
  • Strong communication and discovery skills, with experience engaging prospects across multiple channels.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding prospecting or pipeline generation targets.
  • Ability to research accounts, uncover prospect needs, and tailor messaging accordingly.
  • A growing proficiency in applying AI and analytics to refine prospecting, improve conversion, and manage pipeline health.
  • Experience working with CRM tools (Salesforce.com preferred) and sales engagement platforms.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to balance prospecting volume with quality.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with account executives and marketing teams
  • Proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies
  • Must reside in the United States and have a valid U.S. address for residence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a personal pipeline of prospects from initial outreach through qualification.
  • Execute outbound prospecting strategies using phone, email, social media, and events.
  • Respond to inbound leads with urgency, conducting deeper qualification conversations.
  • Research accounts to understand key stakeholders, challenges, and buying signals.
  • Collaborate with account executives to develop account-specific entry strategies.
  • Schedule and participate in prospect meetings or demos, ensuring smooth handoffs.
  • Track activity, conversion rates, and pipeline health in the CRM.
  • Use AI-powered tools and market data to prioritize outreach and craft personalized messaging.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline generation targets.
  • Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality and campaign performance.
