In this role, you will be responsible for cross-brand demand generation development and capture of ASSA ABLOY brand product sales (mechanical and electro-mechanical) within the targeted Aftermarket channel community including but not limited to targeted Wholesalers, Security Professionals, Locksmiths, and Systems Integrators. Aftermarket demand generation, project tracking, team collaboration and sales execution are critical to the success of the ASSA ABLOY ABDR.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with a variety of decision makers and influencers.
  • Implement specific aftermarket sales objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with local sales teams and develop a cohesive aftermarket attack plan to support Wholesalers, Security Professionals, Locksmiths, and Systems Integrators in promoting ASSA ABLOY solutions.
  • Assess and report on industry trends, market conditions and competitive activities.

Requirements

  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are excited about selling a full range of door opening solutions.
  • You are detail-oriented, organized and known for follow-up habits.
  • You are a strong communicator, active listener, and negotiator.
  • You can work independently but believe in teamwork.
  • Ability to conduct site surveys of door openings and provide solutions to increase security either mechanically or electromechanically.
  • Ability to design, implement, and consult on mechanical key system technologies.
  • You have the ability to read, understand specifications/facility standards and technical aptitude in building construction, electromechanical and IT networking.
  • Ability to travel (up to 25%) within an assigned territory and meet the requirements of customers.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities both in a home office environment or while traveling.
  • You can lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sale presentations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Your background includes a College/University degree preference for specialization in related curricula such as: architectural, design/engineering/drafting, construction science/management, business, or similar.
  • At least 2-3 years' industry related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design-Build construction management, will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in creating and driving sales results to end users and to channel partners servicing the aftermarket channel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting.
  • Working knowledge of industry-related softwares is a plus.
