About the position

The Sales/Project Manager at Nexien INC. is responsible for planning and coordinating technical engineering initiatives to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule. This role involves managing project standards, conducting regular client meetings, and providing technical support to both internal and external stakeholders. The position requires a strong background in project management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to innovate solutions that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate technical engineering initiatives to ensure project completion within budget and schedule.
• Uphold project standards by researching compliance regulations and developing implementation plans.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients to clarify requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Maximize project efficiency and profitability by assisting the Project Leader/Team in establishing objectives and performance standards.
• Provide technical/engineering support for customers and internal teams, including tech support and factory engineers.
• Review customer project drawings and specifications to provide compliance sheets.
• Interact with clients to interpret their needs and represent them in the field.
• Suggest optimal solutions and value engineering alternatives to increase award probability.
• Estimate project costs and provide layouts and quotations for customers.
• Manage compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards throughout all project stages.
• Document and report project progress to stakeholders and clients.
• Manage field technical/engineering work and address quality issues throughout the project.
• Coordinate short circuit and arc flash studies and support field technicians as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10 or more years of related experience in project management.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, flowcharts, and technical documentation.
• Expert understanding of service and product offerings with the ability to innovate solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities under pressure.
