About the position

The Business Transformation Associate role at Elastic focuses on enhancing project processes from intake to completion, particularly within the Field organization. This position requires collaboration with various business partners and end-users to improve processes, document business requirements, and implement features that drive efficiency and scalability. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of business engagement skills, a passion for technology, and a strong desire to manage projects that contribute to business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Bring a design-centered approach to partnerships with sales teams and adjacent teams.
  • Optimize customer-requested changes through prioritization of new enhancements.
  • Lead team members to clarity on business requirements and sequence enhancements based on business needs.
  • Evaluate technical solutions against current tech stack capabilities.
  • Document processes and procedures related to customer use cases.
  • Proactively identify business process limitations and suggest enhancements.
  • Create enablement plans and assist in end-user acceptance testing and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with IT resources to implement effective solutions to business challenges.
  • Lead change and adapt to changing business priorities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working with Salesforce, particularly in the Sales Cloud environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales forecasting applications, sales productivity tools, territory management, and other related areas.
  • Strong social skills and understanding of Territory Management, Data Enrichment, and Sales Compensation.
  • Experience in translating business requirements into automation and high-impact systems.
  • Exceptional documentation skills including diagrams and project plans.
  • Ability to explain complex systems in a clear manner to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in developing business processes for integrating Sales Cloud with boundary systems like Clari and Marketo.
