About the position

The Bulk Account Merchandiser (BAM) is responsible for managing and executing sales, ordering, and merchandising of products within assigned retail accounts. This role focuses on building partnerships with retailers, ensuring the successful execution of commercial plans, and maintaining inventory levels while showcasing effective merchandising skills. The BAM will work on daily, pre-set routes to drive sales and enhance product visibility in stores.

Responsibilities

• Manage, sell, and execute in an assigned group of customers on daily, pre-set routes.
• Generate sales orders based on assigned delivery frequency for each customer.
• Execute applicable promotions and new products based on target lists and marketing promotions.
• Fill, merchandise, and rotate products on display and shelves according to procedures.
• Organize and maintain back room inventory by stacking and arranging products appropriately.
• Create and distribute point-of-sale materials on displays and shelves where permitted.
• Foster business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-ups and proactive discussions.
• Identify and communicate competitive issues or market activities that could impact the business.

Requirements

• Effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
• Critical thinking skills.
• Valid instate driver's license with an excellent driving history.
• Proof of insurance policy to verify current coverage.
