About The Position

HammerHead, a division of The Toro Company located in Lake Mills, Wisconsin, provides specialized equipment and consumables for the underground construction market, including rehabilitation, replacement, and installation. They offer extensive field support and project consultation globally. The Sales Manager for Rehabilitation and Replacement (R&R) will report to the Sr. Sales Manager and lead regional teams for the mainline business. This role is crucial for maximizing R&R sales capacity and regional success by collaborating with Regional Managers, Market Development, Product Support, and Customer Finance. The Sales Manager will develop and implement strategic factory programs to drive direct sales and foster strong customer relationships through integrity, efficiency, and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field required.
  • 5+ years relevant sales or industry experience.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic business plans and comprehensive sales programs.
  • Valid US driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication skills, along with the ability to make effective group presentations.
  • Ability to develop and adhere to a department budget.
  • Appropriate correspondence, record keeping, and PC skills (particularly word processing and spreadsheet applications).
  • Demonstrated record of working in close collaborative team environments with various functions within an organization, to lead and drive successful results.
  • Travel requirements estimated at 60 - 75% overnight travel.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives and goals for R&R mainline business.
  • Directly manage major & critical accounts to maximize & grow sales opportunities with assigned teams.
  • Actively participate in monthly sales meetings, forecast meetings, product meetings & market share analysis.
  • Gather & communicate monthly market, customer & product intelligence with appropriate company personnel and groups.
  • Implement & communicate all programs & promotions to maximize sales & market share within assigned regions, utilizing a strong working knowledge of all company products.
  • Set sales performance and individual goals for teams & leverage the entire company’s organization to achieve them.
  • Follow up on lead generation from marketing and inside sales teams by working closely with teams and involving RSM’s when needed.
  • Provide daily / weekly input on all pipeline activity (opportunities) and manage the stages of deals on mainline products with the team.
  • Lead and manage forecasting on mainline products and mainline rental fleet products.
  • Manage expenses at or below budgeted levels.
