About the position

The Sales Manager will lead the sales team of a well-established company specializing in high-end hotel tents and camping products. This strategic role focuses on developing and implementing sales strategies to increase brand awareness and drive revenue growth in the outdoor and glamping industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for sales, mentoring the team while building relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals and expand market share.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to exceed sales targets and grow professionally.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new opportunities, trends, and competitive insights.
  • Set sales goals, forecast future sales performance, and create action plans to meet objectives.
  • Oversee the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while maintaining detailed records of sales and client interactions.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment and optimize performance.
  • Manage the sales team's pipeline and provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements with clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to promote products and build brand visibility.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role, preferably in the outdoor, glamping, or camping industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing successful sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Deep understanding of sales processes, strategies, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to create and execute strategic sales plans to meet both short-term and long-term goals.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in the outdoor, glamping, or camping industries is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy packages less than 60lbs (occasional).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in the outdoor, glamping, or camping industries is a plus.
