About the position

As a Joint Replacement Manager at Stryker, you will lead, manage, and develop the Stryker Joint Replacement Sales team. Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue and develop the top sales team in the Orthopedic marketplace. To exceed territory market share objectives, you will analyze market information, identify and meet with new prospects, and create sales plans and marketing strategies. You will also prepare, monitor, and manage budgets and expenditures, providing recommendations on pricing schedules and discount rates. Building ongoing partnerships with local hospital staff and surgeons, as well as internal relationships with your sales associates, will be key to your success. You will be expected to support your team in operating/emergency room consultations or assist with customer or account problems when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (business or medical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus.
  • 5+ years demonstrated successful sales experience (in the medical device or industry preferred).
  • 2+ years of sales management experience and/or demonstrated ability to work with and lead others to accomplish sales goals.
  • Knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MSOffice suite, databases, etc.).
