We are currently seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Account Managers with core expertise in the AV area. Confex has been strengthening the M-Group since the beginning of the year with its experience of more than 25 years in the field of abstract management and online platforms. From the locations in Rhode Island and Washington DC, Confex distributes the entire portfolio of the M-Group in the USA and aims for significant growth in the coming years.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new customers and build lasting relationships.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Travel to client sites, conferences, and trade shows, seizing business opportunities.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive developments.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Tailor bespoke solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Partner with our marketing team to boost sales.
  • Lead contract and price negotiations.
  • Work with our technical team for smooth solution implementation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales or business development in the area of AV services.
  • Excellent technical understanding and ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the field of medical conferences is beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making processes.
