About the position

At Lakeshore, we are seeking a Sales Learning Lead to join our dynamic team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the success and efficiency of our Sales field. The successful candidate will be an expert in Sales training and development, possessing strong leadership qualities and exceptional interpersonal skills. You will have the ability to influence, engage, coach, and inspire our Sales team. Flexibility for frequent travel across the Sales field is essential, as this role requires you to be actively involved in various training sessions and initiatives. In this role, you will design, implement, and facilitate comprehensive onboarding training programs, focusing on the development of technical and selling skills for new hires in the Sales division. You will be responsible for creating training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules, to ensure effective learning outcomes. Conducting regular in-person and virtual training sessions will be a key part of your responsibilities, aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of new hires in alignment with company goals. Collaboration with key department stakeholders will be vital to identify specific training needs and tailor programs accordingly. You will evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement. This role is designed for a motivated lifelong learner who is always looking to improve and uses assessment to measure levels of contribution.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and facilitate comprehensive onboarding training programs for the Sales division.
  • Create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules.
  • Conduct regular in-person and virtual training sessions for new hires.
  • Collaborate with key department stakeholders to identify specific training needs.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; adult learning certification is helpful.
  • 5+ years of sales and training experience.
  • Proven experience in Sales learning and development, focusing on impactful learning experiences.
  • Strong knowledge of Sales operations, including customer service principles and sales techniques.
  • Proficient in utilizing the Salesforce platform.
  • Demonstrated ability to create effective training materials and adapt content to different learning styles.
  • Professional facilitator skills to engage the audience and course correct when needed.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the work week.
  • Understanding and application of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build trusted partnerships across all levels with professional maturity.
  • Proactive self-starter, able to build plans and work independently as well as part of a large team.
