Responsibilities

  • Lead the training and development of the Business Development Leadership staff.
  • Oversee the BD leadership training program.
  • Develop, coordinate and facilitate centralized learning and training for Business Development Leaders, including both new hires and tenured representatives.
  • Plan, develop and oversee virtual and onsite training programs for both newly hired and tenured business development leaders as well as regional leadership teams across the organization.
  • Design and oversee continuous learning solutions to meet the identified learning needs of Business Development Leadership.
  • Prepare goals and outcome measures to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Assess and improve the effectiveness of ongoing leadership training strategies/programs to ensure consistency and quality across the organization.
  • Implement targeted learning solutions and provide support for training and specific skill practice.
  • Conduct needs assessments to determine specific continuous learning needs for tenured Business Development Leaders.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of learning programs and resources and make necessary adjustments to improve learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior field leadership to ensure training programs are aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Comply with policies, procedures and regulatory mandates including but not limited to abiding to the terms of the Amedisys Compliance Program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, education, business or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Five (5+) years' experience in Home Health and/or Hospice practice, or clinical education training.
  • Ten (10) years' experience in training/coaching.
  • Five (5+) years in content writing and development.
  • Two (2) years' experience leading projects, programs or teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in healthcare, education, or business or related field.
  • Seven (7+) years' experience in the Home Health and/or Hospice field.
