About the position

The Sales Leader I - Business Banking at PNC is responsible for leading a team to achieve business results and enhance customer experience within the Business Banking organization. This role involves coaching team members on risk analysis and credit fundamentals, managing client relationships, and executing strategic sales plans. The Sales Leader will also focus on motivating staff, monitoring their progress, and ensuring compliance with internal credit policies while fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct a team to achieve business results and customer experience goals.
  • Oversee the execution of strategy and daily activities of team members engaged in customer management.
  • Develop and execute account and sales plans to attract new customers and grow existing relationships.
  • Identify and mitigate various types of risks associated with client management.
  • Build and maintain a network of senior internal and external relationships to enhance client experience.
  • Coach team members on skills needed to analyze and mitigate credit risk.

Requirements

  • University/college degree required; higher education such as a Master's degree or PhD is desirable.
  • 8+ years of industry experience, with at least 5 years of prior management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of account management, client prospecting, and customer relationships.
