About the position
The Sales Floor Associate at Dollar Tree is responsible for supporting store operations by assisting with various tasks including merchandising, cash register operations, customer service, and stock replenishment. Responsibilities
- Handle all sales transactions while operating assigned cash register.
- Maintain security of all cash.
- Protect all company assets.
- Maintain a high level of good customer service.
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, cooperative attitude with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Receive merchandise.
- Assist with unloading trucks.
- Work in a safe manner.
- Adhere to and uphold policies and procedures.
Requirements
- General math skills to allow for cash accounting.
- Strong verbal communication skills to allow for proper interaction with customers.
- High level of integrity and honesty; will be responsible for handling cash.
