About the position

The Sales Executive at JourneyTeam is responsible for all aspects of net new customer acquisition in the Small, Medium, Corporate, and Enterprise space. You will be responsible for developing strategies and tactics in the following key areas: prospecting, relationship development, running sales cycles, solution and pricing presentation, negotiations, and closing. In this role, you will strive to understand the specific challenges that customers are faced with and map JourneyTeam's solutions accordingly to achieve the desired positive business outcomes. They need to cultivate trusted relationships with customers and key partners while maintaining a knowledge of evolving technology solutions and differentiators. Expect to own deals from cradle-to-grave in collaboration with sales engineers and partners. This role requires strong leadership qualities, ethical behavior, excellent work ethic and a focus on collaboration with internal counterparts and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently achieve quarterly sales quotas.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and maintain a high standard of accountability.
  • Stay updated with the latest Microsoft cloud offerings and maintain high-level technical competency.
  • Proactively uncover new opportunities through networking and other means.
  • Collaborate effectively with peers to achieve common goals.
  • Efficiently respond to and qualify inbound marketing leads.
  • Align customer needs with relevant technology solutions.
  • Conduct high-level technical conversations with senior executives in target accounts.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with business leaders.
  • Promote and evangelize JourneyTeam services and solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to consistently exceed quota in a high-performing sales role.
  • Extensive experience in selling enterprise solutions to small and medium corporate (SMC) and enterprise businesses.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and quantify the cost of inaction.
  • Proven capability to function as a strategic advisor to the C-Suite.
  • Self-starter with a high standard of accountability.
  • Ability to uncover new opportunities and close deals without reliance on incoming leads.
  • Experience navigating high-level technical conversations with senior executives in target accounts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience selling in the Microsoft Partner ecosystem, highly preferred.
  • Experience selling Microsoft Azure, Business Applications or Modern Work products.
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (Customer Relationship Management).
