About the position

The Sales Equipment Specialist at Johnson & Johnson supports the MedTech Orthopaedic business by providing analytical support to sales and marketing management. This role involves data analysis, reporting, and insights to enhance sales performance and effectiveness, while also supporting various sales initiatives and training efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares regular and ad hoc reports and performs data mining activities for sales management.
  • Publishes standard reports for management.
  • Tracks and analyzes sales force performance metrics such as sales volume and market share.
  • Analyzes internal and external factors affecting sales performance.
  • Provides insights on sales force effectiveness to management.
  • Troubleshoots inquiries about account alignments and performance data.
  • Conducts training on effective data usage and sales tools.
  • Participates in special projects related to sales analytics.
  • Prepares presentations and reports for sales conferences and meetings.
  • Utilizes business systems to gather key sales and cost information.
  • Supports field sales management in deploying new assets and optimizing inventory.
  • Assists in forecasting and completing annual business budgets.
  • Supports new product launches and set deployments to field sales.
  • Establishes field sales work instructions and reporting via Optimizer.
  • Provides market-related information and analysis.
  • Assists in constructing sales forecasts and budgets for management.
  • Participates in the design and implementation of Sales Analytics plans.
  • Supports the Sales Analytics manager in task planning and project implementation.
  • Maintains departmental budget and performs other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
  • Experience in leading and coordinating projects across multiple partners and departments is required.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in spreadsheet data entry are required.
  • Diplomatic and amiable written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to make effective oral and written presentations is required.
  • Adaptability to varying tasks based on team needs is required.
  • Ability to work with varying stakeholders is required.
