The Sales Associate position is focused on providing a consultative sales approach in the painting industry, specifically covering the South Shore, Plymouth, and South Coast areas of Massachusetts. This role emphasizes building rapport with customers, accurately quoting project costs, and following up on sales without high-pressure tactics. The position offers a base salary with uncapped commission potential, making it suitable for individuals who are organized, motivated, and enjoy meeting new people.

Responsibilities

• Develop rapport with customers in their homes.
• Accurately quote painting costs using provided software.
• Listen intently to customer needs and relay details to painters.
• Be punctual for all appointments and follow up on sales afterward.
• Generate 15% of leads through referrals and word of mouth.
• Sell approximately 50% of the quotes given to customers.
• Be thorough in including all project details in quotes.
• Respond quickly to customer inquiries and follow up promptly.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience in sales is preferred but not mandatory.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to use software for quoting.
