About the position

The position at Kate Spade New York involves representing and communicating the brand and lifestyle to customers through sales competency, product expertise, and providing the highest level of customer service. The role is essential in achieving individual sales goals, developing strong product knowledge across all categories, and ensuring exemplary customer service by delivering the ultimate Kate Spade experience. The sales associate is also responsible for building brand equity by understanding and communicating the Kate Spade aesthetic, brand philosophy, and lifestyle to customers, as well as executing operational tasks as per company directives.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves individual sales goals.
  • Develops strong product knowledge across all categories.
  • Ensures exemplary customer service by delivering the ultimate Kate Spade experience.
  • Develops a personal clientele through effective use of selling skills, proactive client outreach, and use of client book.
  • Understands and communicates the Kate Spade aesthetic, brand philosophy, and lifestyle to customers.
  • Demonstrates interest and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Executes operational tasks as per company directives.
  • Accurately processes all POS transactions.
  • Adheres to and applies visual directives, ensuring that store standards are executed daily.

Requirements

  • Prior luxury goods experience preferred.
  • Proactive ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • College degree preferred.
