Responsibilities

  • Greet every customer with a warm smile and exceptional customer service.
  • Assist customers with purchases and operate the cash register and point of sale system accurately and efficiently.
  • Complete reports such as donation counts, readings, daily business statements, deposits, and cash drawer balances.
  • Answer phone calls with friendliness and commitment to customer service.
  • Select and price donated goods and textiles, ensuring Goodwill quality control standards are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all areas.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate a cash register including basic math, computer, and typing skills.
  • Ability to count back change.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliability and trustworthiness.
