About the position

The Sales Associate at FitSeed Consulting Inc. is responsible for driving sales and maintaining customer relationships within the Institutional Customer Division. This role requires flexibility and coordination with various stakeholders to meet sales objectives and provide exceptional customer service. The Sales Associate will travel to customer locations, establish business relationships, and report on sales activities to support the company's growth in the foodservice sector.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers and potential customers' facilities to provide information and support.
• Establish, maintain, and develop business relationships with customers in the assigned territory.
• Sell products to all customers in the assigned territory.
• Anticipate customer needs and provide appropriate solutions to business problems.
• Communicate plans to customers and manage resources to support sales volume.
• Gather feedback and communicate new product opportunities to company staff.
• Cooperate with the accounting department to ensure collection of accounts receivable.
• Assist in establishing sales objectives for the territory with the Sales Manager.
• Work with Operations and Logistics staff to achieve territory sales goals.
• Provide timely reporting of field activities to assist in business planning.
• Attend quarterly inventory counts and submit sales activity reports.

Requirements

• High School Degree or GED.
• 1-2 years of sales experience in the Asian food industry is desired.
• Familiarity with products and services offered by the company.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with word processing software.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Ability to learn Oracle ERP software.
• Bilingual in Korean, Japanese, or Chinese is preferred.
