About the position
The Sales Associate at Encore Boston Harbor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the retail shop, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards in line with Encore's core values. This role involves engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and driving sales through effective merchandising and relationship building.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the assigned retail shop.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain Encore standards.
- Engage customers to determine their needs and present product features.
- Overcome objections and close sales while building ongoing relationships.
- Develop and create merchandise displays to improve sales.
- Monitor and evaluate the retail outlet to ensure customer needs are met.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends through continuing education and training.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in a commissioned sales environment.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of luxury sales experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in cosmetics application and money handling procedures.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents and respond to inquiries.
Nice-to-haves
- Fluency in a second language is a plus.
- Experience with planning and project management.
