Responsibilities

  • Assist Sales Representatives in the sales, promotion and marketing of Stryker products.
  • Educate and inform doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel about the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products.
  • Tailor Stryker's promotional message based on knowledge of the customer.
  • Advise on appropriate product selection and answer customer questions about product functionality.
  • Differentiate Stryker products from competitors' products.
  • Adjust time to focus on what will bring the most value to customers and the market.
  • Communicate with large groups of people and telephonically.
  • Negotiate price and terms of transactions between Stryker and its customers.
  • Solve customer complaints and questions.
  • Analyze territory market potential and prioritize call patterns accordingly.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years in an outside sales position (medical related fields is preferable).
  • B.A. or B.S. degree required.
  • Field sales training--In field training.
  • Successful completion of in-house product training program.
