About the position

Richmond American Homes is seeking driven and goal-oriented individuals for the position of Sales Associate. This role offers an extraordinary career opportunity with the potential to earn a six-figure income. New hires will participate in the Peak Sales Training program, which includes various training phases such as orientation, systems training, job shadowing, and selling. The program is designed for all skill levels and aims to prepare associates for success in the new home sales process. The next training class is scheduled to begin on February 18, 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Train on policies and procedures through self-led exercises, instructor-led training, and shadowing of experienced new home sales associates.
  • Travel between communities to support where needed when existing staff is off or as needed for development.
  • Develop relationships with customers.
  • Network and prospect for new clients.
  • Understand customer experience touchpoints to maintain quality customer service and guide buyers through the new home sales process.
  • Complete accurate and timely contract paperwork, which is a requirement prior to promotion to Sales Associate.
  • Obtain and analyze market data critical for community competitiveness.
  • Maintain standard sales office hours while being flexible to meet customer schedules.
  • Successfully complete required company training programs, procure required sales units, and obtain management approval for promotion to Sales Associate.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to work weekends.
  • A Real Estate License is required in all states EXCEPT CO, MD, TX & VA.
  • Previous high-end sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to connect with people and develop and maintain professional relationships.
  • Action-oriented individuals with the drive to push sales to successful closure.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation, as driving within and between communities is essential.
  • All new hires will attend a week of sales training at the corporate office in Denver, CO during the first month of employment.
