About the position

The Sales Associate at Forever 21 is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for shoppers. Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment for customers as they enter or exit the store.
• Respond immediately to customer inquiries and needs.

• Assist customers in locating, selecting, and purchasing merchandise.
• Utilize basic selling techniques to engage with customers effectively.
• Introduce current sales, promotions, and brand initiatives to customers.
• Complete sales transactions accurately and maintain accountability at registers.
• Process merchandise returns and exchanges courteously according to company guidelines.
• Speak positively about the brand, customers, and team members.
• Demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and ownership in every interaction.
• Maintain visual standards for the selling floor and fitting rooms.
• Assist in daily store recovery before, during, or after store hours.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and loss prevention practices.
• Share feedback and ideas with management to improve store processes.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Provide support for all cross-functional departments.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Minimum of one year of retail sales experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience is preferred.
• Energetic and charismatic personality.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with integrity and business maturity.
• Ability to complete sales transactions in a POS register system.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 100% of working time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions and various physical tasks.
