About the position

The Sales and Events Coordinator will support the planning and execution of events, manage marketing efforts, and assist with various administrative tasks within the office. This role involves coordinating event logistics, managing social media accounts, and providing support to the sales team, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and attendees alike.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with event duties including registration, name tags, set-up/breakdown, and communication to attendees, sponsors, and honorees.
  • Work with business designer to produce promotional materials for events and nominations.
  • Coordinate email marketing efforts with the corporate team.
  • Manage the events Twitter account and schedule posts on other social media channels.
  • Coordinate internal and external volunteers for events.
  • Work with the corporate events team to execute virtual events.
  • Create post-event recap reports for sponsors and partners.
  • Maintain postage machine and create postage reports.
  • Open and distribute mail to appropriate departments.
  • Serve as liaison with the post office and printer.
  • Assist the corporate accounting department as needed.
  • Manage cash received and notify customers of lock box address.
  • Oversee general office needs including telephone system and equipment service agreements.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and assist with employee services.
  • Assist Account Executives with Salesforce order entry and updates.
  • Manage client contract workflow and support electronic contracts process.
  • Become an expert in the SwiftPitch system and support the sales team.
  • Coordinate with various corporate resources to ensure positive client experiences.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Three to five years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and word processing.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Ability to learn new systems as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SharePoint is a plus.
