About the position

The Sales Administration Coordinator at Alta Equipment Group plays a crucial role in supporting the sales process by efficiently managing administrative tasks related to equipment sales, service, and leases. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various departments and vendors. The coordinator will embody the company's guiding principles and contribute to a culture of excellence and mutual respect.

Responsibilities

  • Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities.
  • Efficiently process administrative portions of equipment sales, service, and leases.
  • Interact with vendors, sales, service, accounting, and leasing departments.
  • Follow up on status professionally with vendors and internal departments.
  • Pay close attention to details for meticulous file organization and management.
  • Report status updates and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree and/or 2-4 years of coordinator experience is strongly desired.
  • Ability to multitask with diligence and organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, work ethic, and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and escalate concerns or delays, providing prompt and thorough responses.
  • Strong problem-solving and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business materials and government regulations.
  • Mathematical skills to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages.
