About the position

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing customer accounts and driving sales growth within the aerospace sector. This role requires a proactive approach to customer relationship management, technical product sales, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of prior sales administrative support, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proactive, communicative, dependable, accurate, and organized.
• Prior technical product sales experience.
• Familiarity with aerospace distribution, MRO, and aftermarket support sales models.
• Strong relationship and customer development skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and create a solution within company capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Must be well-organized, flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment.
• MS Office Suite including; Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and MSWord.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Read/Write Fluently in English.
• Sustained, dependable attendance.
• Cooperation with others in team environment for cross training and conference on operational issues.
• Initiative in learning and changing work methods to accomplish assigned tasks on a timely basis.
