About the position

The Sales Account Manager at Esko is responsible for driving growth and expanding profit margins for assigned accounts within a designated territory. This role involves developing professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and implementing effective sales strategies. The position requires extensive travel, approximately 50% of the time, to engage with customers and present tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design sales programs and set short and long-term sales strategies.
  • Evaluate and implement new sales techniques to increase sales volume.
  • Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Research, prepare, and present detailed PowerPoint presentations to customers.
  • Spend time in the pressroom to gather performance information from operators.
  • Provide demonstrations of AVT/print inspection products.
  • Attend regional, national, and international printing industry trade shows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related area.
  • At least 3 years of experience in capital equipment sales.
  • Experience in the printing industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software.
  • Strong prospecting and customer development skills.
