About the position

As a Safety Ambassador at PT's Taverns, you will ensure that all guests who enter the facility are greeted properly and safely, adhering to all operating procedures and safety regulations. Your role is to provide a fun, hospitable, and safe experience for all guests, ensuring they have a positive experience. You will follow all security operations and safety procedures without fail while delivering exemplary guest service. Consistently demonstrating prompt, courteous, and professional service is essential when interacting with guests, vendors, and fellow team members.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure guests entering the property are greeted and IDs are checked, confirming all guests are at least 21 years of age.
  • Screen guests who show signs of illness for fever and follow proper protocol if guests appear ill or have a fever.
  • Maintain head counts of guests entering and exiting the premises to ensure capacity limits are maintained.
  • Effectively communicate directions to guests.
  • Keep work areas clean and presentable.
  • Maintain patience with guests regarding complaints, lost items, and general directions, contacting management as necessary.
  • Accurately answer guests' questions regarding the property, special events, and other Golden Entertainment products and services.
  • Provide unique needs or assistance to all guests requiring special attention.
  • Perform all duties with an upbeat and positive attitude while maintaining a neat, well-groomed, and professional appearance.
  • Maintain familiarity with current life safety systems and emergency evacuation procedures, as well as procedures for handling uncooperative guests and potentially dangerous situations.
  • Consistently follow all operating, safety, and emergency evacuation procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a high volume guest contact position.
  • Previous experience interacting with guests without scripted conversation.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain calm under pressure and in emergency situations.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • Ability to effectively read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company.
  • Verify right to work in the United States.
