About the position

The RCP II position at Saint Francis Hospital involves performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures under the direction of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director. Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document care for patients.
• Consider age and population-specific needs in patient care.
• Act as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor, overseeing the section or department.

Requirements

• State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
• 2 years experience as an RCP preferred.
• ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
• NRP certificate preferred.
• PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
