About the position

The Route Sales Representative at Frito-Lay plays a crucial role in delivering, selling, and merchandising a wide range of products to local stores. This position involves driving a Frito-Lay truck, working independently to manage orders, and collaborating with store managers to boost sales. The role offers opportunities for career growth within Frito-Lay and its parent company, PepsiCo, while providing a dynamic and physically engaging work environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and sell Frito-Lay products to local stores including gas stations, dollar stores, and large grocery stores.
• Unloading orders and merchandising products at various locations.
• Partnering with store managers to increase sales and maintain records throughout the day.
• Building relationships with customers to grow sales on the route.
• Completing national initiatives and selling in displays.
• Attending training for four to six weeks to learn the basics of the role.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with proof of insurance and ability to obtain other required licensures.
• Ability to frequently lift 40 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
