About the position
Supports the department performing various manual labor tasks to construct, maintain and restore natural gas well leases.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area to promote ease of access to equipment and safety for personnel at construction site on a daily basis.
- Collect construction debris and trash.
- Monitors cleanliness and functionality of tools and equipment.
- Works with other field employees to learn specific skill sets needed for promotions.
- Assists in the repair of equipment and machinery.
- Provides relief to others as needed.
- Operates light machinery and equipment as required.
- Performs general labor at construction site to include pipeline/flowline construction, production facility construction, meter run installation, repair leaks, remove and erect fences, install gates, dig and fill holes and trenches, set and dismantle forms, mix and pour concrete, assemble and disassemble wellhead equipment and pipe, paint equipment and structures.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 6 months related experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Willingness to learn while on the job.
- Valid driver's license.
