About The Position
Room attendants are responsible for ensuring guest rooms are fully stocked, clean, and inviting at all times, ready for the next guests. This role involves addressing client queries and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to bend, crouch, lift, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Responsibilities
- Changing towels
- Making beds
- Cleaning bathrooms
- Addressing clients' queries
- Ensuring rooms are fully stocked, clean, and inviting
- Ensuring all guest rooms are ready for the next guests
- Vacuuming and mopping of various types of floors
- Dusting all surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms
- Stripping beds and putting all dirty laundry in the laundry cart
- Returning the laundry cart to the basement
- Demonstrating a high level of Guest Focus by striving for high guest satisfaction
- Going out of the way to be helpful and pleasant
- Making it as easy as possible for guests
- Following instructions
- Maintaining appropriate appearance
- Complying with team Member policies and procedures
- Being willing to learn
- Working as part of a team by being helpful, respectful, approachable, and team-oriented
