About the position
The RN Weekend Nights Internal Agency Float Pool position at Baptist Health Floyd involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients across various inpatient units during weekend night shifts. This part-time role requires experienced nurses to deliver intermediate level care and respond to staffing needs in the hospital, ensuring high-quality patient care from admission to discharge.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for patients from admission to discharge.
- Work in various inpatient units based on staffing needs.
- Collaborate with supervisors and house managers to address staffing requirements.
- Deliver intermediate level of care to patients as needed.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for Healthcare provider certification required upon hire.
- ACLS for Healthcare provider certification required upon hire.
- NIHSS certification required upon hire.
- PALS for Healthcare provider certification required within one year of hire.
- Minimum of two years of previous nursing experience in an acute care setting required.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in intermediate level of care preferred.
