About the position
We are Hiring at University Hospital. Location: 530 S Jackson St. Louisville KY, 40202. Shift Options: FULL-TIME NIGHTS 7P-7A. UofL Hospital's Emergency Department is a regional Level 1 Trauma Center and is the gateway for many of these patients. We care for over 70,000 patients per year with a focus on trauma, burn, neuro, high risk obstetrics, psychiatric, and pulmonary patients as well as caring for the student athletes of the University of Louisville. Our ED is a complex department with an ability to care for any level of acuity that crosses our threshold.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Requirements
- Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units
- Associates's degree from accredited college or University
