About the position
The RN Unit Manager at Laurel Brook Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is responsible for overseeing nursing staff and ensuring high-quality care for residents and patients. This role emphasizes personal advancement, skill development, and employee appreciation within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing staff and manage daily operations of the unit.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement care plans for residents.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in New Jersey.
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Five (5) or more years of nursing experience required.
- Two (2) or more years of experience as a supervisor in Long-term Care and Subacute healthcare facility.
