The Registered Nurse (RN) Traveler position at Solutions By Sanford involves providing individualized nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting. The position is designed for experienced RNs who are willing to travel and work in various Sanford locations, with contracts typically lasting 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients.
• Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan and evaluate patient care.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise.
• Care for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Plan and coordinate patient care, including assessment, education, triage, and nursing interventions.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• At least six months of travel nursing experience.
• Live at least 60 miles from the location applied for.
