About the position
The RN Traveler Registered Nurse position at Vibra Travels offers a unique opportunity to work with a single recruiter throughout your assignments, providing continuity and support. This role involves developing and implementing care plans for patients while ensuring compliance with nursing standards. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise care plans for assigned patients and families.
- Provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing staff in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrate clinical competence and manage patient care effectively.
- Improve the quality of care and establish professional relationships with patients and families.
- Fulfill responsibilities of the nursing role and develop clinical expertise in specialty areas.
Requirements
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor.
- Current, valid, and active driver's license.
- Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
- 1 year of acute care experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be preferred.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
