Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, coordinate, teach, and evaluate education and training programs within designated areas.
- Develop alternative methodologies for education based on adult learning principles.
- Collaborate with leaders, employees, educational facilities, and community agencies.
- Manage and document departmental needs related to compliance and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and provide ongoing education within departments.
- Facilitate research and serve as a resource to clients.
- Analyze and synthesize data to assess educational needs.
- Demonstrate effective collaborative skills with health team members.
- Respond flexibly to organizational changes through educational processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a clinical or healthcare field.
- Minimum of one year of hands-on clinical experience required based on licensure.
- Currently holds a professional and unencumbered clinical license.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
Nice-to-haves
- Demonstrated involvement in clinical process improvement initiatives.
- Additional certifications such as TNCC, ENPC, BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
