About the position

Provides professional nursing care to patients within the medical practice in support of, and as directed by, the physicians. Assists the physician in the treatment of patients and completes related clinical paperwork. In communicating with patients, families, visitors and employees, a caring, friendly, personal and professional approach is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional nursing care to patients as directed by physicians.
  • Assist physicians in the treatment of patients.
  • Complete related clinical paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, visitors, and employees.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current valid RN state license.
  • CPR certification or obtain within 90 days of employment.
  • Skill in assisting and performing a variety of medical treatments and procedures.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and policies.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and establish effective working relationships with patients, staff, and the public.
