About the position
Provides prescribed medical treatment ordered by the physician, places in exam room obtaining vital signs and chief complaint, assists physicians and nurses as required. Serves as a mediator between physician and patient. Attendance is an essential function of this job. Requirements
- Associate's degree required from an accredited two-year college or university.
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years of cardiac experience preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of clinic policies/procedures, practices, techniques, and equipment as acquired through orientation.
- Keyboarding skills required.
- Windows skills preferred.
- Ability to speak and hear clearly and effectively over the telephone.
