Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic critical care and med/surgical nursing interventions.
- Conduct patient education, goal setting, critical thinking, and care planning.
- Administer treatment modalities and care for patients.
- Participate in collaborative team approaches, including SNAP rounds and vent rounds with interdisciplinary teams.
- Utilize the Nursing Process to plan, direct, and supervise patient care while providing direct care to patients and families.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with eligibility for licensure in the State of New York.
- Current BLS/CPR and ACLS certification.
- Experience in time management and critical thinking.
