About the position
The LPNT East Travel RN: Psych position involves providing nursing care in a psychiatric setting during night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM at Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, NC. Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to psychiatric patients during night shifts.
- Monitor patient behavior and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements
- Current RN license in North Carolina or eligibility for licensure assistance.
- Experience in psychiatric nursing or related field.
- Ability to work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Certification in psychiatric nursing.
