About the position

Sandstone is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time, part-time, and PRN positions. The role involves delivering personalized and expert-level care to residents, ensuring their health and well-being through comprehensive nursing practices. RNs will be responsible for supervising nursing care delivery, developing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the independent supervision of the delivery of care to a group of residents in a nursing unit.
• Assess resident needs, develop individual care plans, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care, and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for residents.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor and document resident progress and any changes in their condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate residents and their families about their health status, treatment plans and disease management.
• Ensure that all nursing interventions are carried out in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.

Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficient computer skills
